Set the mood while you wait
Fiestas del Sol Mexicali takes place from September 27 to October 13, 2026. Before you go, a good playlist helps you get in the mood, share expectations with friends, and discover artists on the lineup. Below you'll find concrete ideas for putting together playlists that match the festival's spirit.
How to organize your playlists
- Playlist 'Warm-up': songs for the trip and meeting up with friends. Include energetic tracks and representative songs from artists on the lineup.
- Playlist 'Discovery': songs by lesser-known artists on the bill to broaden your tastes and get pleasantly surprised on the day of the event.
- Playlist 'Ballads and chill moments': for breaks between shows.
- Playlist 'Full-on party': the anthems and hits to keep the festival energy going at home or during pre-parties.
Suggested artists (to inspire your playlists)
You can pick tracks from the artists on the official Palenque and Isla de las Estrellas 2026 lineup, for example: Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Banda MS, Alfredo Olivas, Grupo Firme, Remmy Valenzuela, Julión Álvarez, Jorge Medina y Josi Cuen; and also Edgardo Núñez, Amantes de Lola y Rostros Ocultos, Máximo Grado, Christine D Clario, Raúl Hernández Jr, DLD, Caloncho, Kurt, Abbey Road, Inspector, El Gran Silencio, La Original Sonora Dinamita, Matisse, among others.
Practical tips for your playlist
- Mix familiar tracks with discoveries to keep the experience fresh.
- Use collaborative playlists if you travel with a group so everyone can add their favorites.
- Queue live versions of songs when available: they often convey the concert atmosphere better.
